Yes, the jukebox! Heart of Gold was a hippie SW fave. I’m pretty sure the music hadn’t changed since the mid ‘70s. Strange kind of Woman by Deep Purple sticks in my mind.

It was at the time run by the French equivalent of Basil Faulty, who brought chaos to everything he brought to his attention, this included the breaking of a very expensive looking chandelier in the style of Del Boy meets the Chuckle brothers.

When I googled them, a review by ‘Net Mums’ , presumably a site ripping off the original bastion of self righteousness which this quote “The Aldi frickles exceeded my expectations – the batter was great, the crunch was great and the flavour was great. A big 10 out of 10 from me.” was taken.
