Makin' those words dance and howl and lure and whisperstumbletwerk 💡📝🤘
Prices are still rising.
The stock market is plummeting.
Exports are shrinking.
Deportations are below projections.
So is DOGE, but lying about it.

BUT!
The five trans women athletes can no longer play women's sports, and we're losing the penny.

So this was what they meant by "great."

There's a big difference between "corruption" (like the permitting of corporate bribes Trump began legalizing this week) and "wasteful spending" (like USAID spending billions on female education programs that underperform). Intent is everything.

The UK created an AI grandma chatbot designed to keep scammers on phone calls for hours, which, in my opinion, should make it the frontrunner for the Nobel Peace Prize. www.cbsnews.com/news/ai-gran...
AI grandma fights back against scammers
Daisy's mission is two-fold: To waste scammers' time so they can't speak to real people and to draw attention to fraud by warning consumers to be vigilant.

It's only an ego lecho chamber of you use it for news. Otherwise, it's a cultivated social experience, like Pinterest or hanging out at your fav coffeeshop.
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

What an achievement vaccines are. What a monument to our love for each other it is to stare straight into the face of something as horrific and unstoppable as smallpox or measles or polio or cervical cancer and say “You know what, it doesn’t have to be like this.”

HUMANS!

Finally got a human response from a literary agent this week. She said my book had too much dialogue and felt like an early draft, but aside from that absolute kick in the crotch, it was a pretty cool email! #WritingCommunity

Watch the restaurant and hospitality industries collapse after mass deportations.

Watch as massive tariffs spike prices and cripple American businesses.

Watch the deficit explode with more tax cuts, unraveling critical government programs.

Watch it all fall apart.

I just have to say thanks to the kind editors at Little Old Lady Comedy for publishing my short story, "Santa GrampaClowz." It's probably the most ridiculous, immature thing I've ever written, but if you don't mind blue humor, it might be worth five minutes of your day.
