To break up my day of writing I take walks outside to clear the head. I live in Idaho too so in the winter the cold can really be shocking. But I devour audiobooks and am currently listening to Stories That Stick by Kindra Hall and to anyone who doubts the power of story this is a must-read.

I'm a #copywriter and dabble in all formats but gravitate towards long-form—blogs, email newsletter, and client testimonials—but what I love most is seeing what others create. I think, especially in writing, being in a vacuum stunts your creative growth. Words matter.

I wish I was a bear and could hibernate for, let’s say a year. With out going to jail I want that feeling of being in prison an being released after 30 years and everything is new and exciting. Turn me into a battery like in the Matrix, idk but I’d sign up for it.

It’s obvious that 2024 was rough so anything else terrible has 23 days to appear before we get a break for 2025. Deal?

I’ve spent that last couple of weeks scrolling @bsky.app to see if there’s any noticeable difference from “he who shall not be named” and I have to say it feels like the early 2000s again; a time when social media was pure. I’m here to stay.
