Hi. I have an update about my podcast, A People’s History of the Guitar.

I had planned new episodes, but we were hit with a virus that damaged my voice, and I haven’t been able to record. I’ll update as stuff goes up. The easiest way to listen/support is at the main show website:

IYKYK.

William J. Le Petomane is Trump. Hedley Lamarr is Musk. MAGA is a bunch of farting cowboys. The Trump administration recruits Nazis and KKK members. Their theme song is a self-parodic version of “Camptown Races.”

We are Black Bart & The Waco Kid. Our theme music is by Count Basie.

We win.

Well hi. This is the formal, official hard-launch moment of my podcast, A People's History of the Guitar. The first six episodes are up now.

The video lays out the basics, links and more info in the comments. I hope you'll check it out, and that you'll find something interesting in each episode.

So...I've been doing a thing. Reveal on Wednesday.

If you know what it is, don't spoil it, ok? It was supposed to have launched nine months ago, but I had some stuff to figure out, and the whole thing is better for it.

And yeah, nerds, those are early '80s Auratones. Anyhoo, watch this channel.

Bright spot in an otherwise pre-apocalyptic period. Been waiting for this for a minute.

I’ve been mainlining Daryl Dixon. It has every trope you can think of in a dystopian story, but they somehow feel fresh. It’s ridiculous, but of the Walking Dead spinoffs (and post-S4 WD), Daryl Dixon seems to be more in keeping with the spirit of the source material.

Discuss.

Personally, when I say “own the Libs,” I mean “own the Libertarians.” Also Libraries.

Four weeks later. I blame the stock tires, so there will be a major tire upgrade on Monday.

So far I'm liking the simplicity of this platform. I was never on Twitter because it was always a cesspool, and I sometimes I treated Facebook like a blog. This seems to control my worst thumb-typing tendencies and so far I don't feel sucked into it. Anyhoo, let's see where this goes.

After reading about Zuckerberg’s comments on his newfound “masculinity,” on Rogan, I’m sorta warming to this platform already.

And there ya have it, folks, my first post on BlueSky. Photo of Robbie the Robot gambling added for absolutely no reason.
