Split things up based on function call and the results are consistent with microbenchmarking the SAM examples. Guess trade off depends what the goal is?

RTMB is awesome for easily building hierarchical models using only #Rstats, but setting up the AD from R is definitely a bit slower than from C++ using TMB directly.

Blue sky is great so far, though I’m not so sure about adding the word “skeets” to my regular vernacular…
