Go, get fight on behalf of democracy, Damian Williams!
Damian Williams, the former top federal prosecutor in Manhattan, is leaving the law firm Paul Weiss to join Jenner & Block, defecting from a firm that struck a deal with the Trump administration to sign on with one that fought it in court.

Hope you will love Berganzo's story as much as I do!

Kiva is a wonderful model of loaning needed funds to people around the world. Many borrowers are provided biz guidance, some hygiene basics, & some health care education.

Our loan to Berganzo surely beats paper towels!

Can you help Connie support Berganzo?
Kiva is a loan, not a donation. With Kiva you can lend as little as $25 and make a big change in someone's life.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Step away from your feed’s scroll. Maybe choose to read one of these books, look at the sun or stars, practice some self-care, meditation or exercise.

We want you healthy and in for the long haul - and our ultimate CELEBRATION of DEMOCRACY!

Such a sad truth!
I learned this week that you can put our troops' lives in danger, compromise our national security, and violate the Espionage Act. And the government will do nothing.

But if you write an editorial for your school newspaper that Trump doesn't like, you will be abducted on the street and disappeared.

Make lying wrong again.

Please.
"Not that I'm aware of" is what lawyers tell guilty clients who don't want to admit something prejudicial. It is a clever way to avoid perjury because it is very difficult to disprove someone's mental state, i.e., simply not remembering. If instead, they say "no," it can be disproven, ergo perjury.
Was Tulsi Gabbard lying today, or was she lying yesterday?

@davmandave.bsky.social We are the leadership, too! Check Indivisible, #50501, & start your own local resistance group. Head out to the streets on your own!

There are plenty of us out already. Lawmakers need to do what they uniquely can do. In DC, they can hear & look & act - not the streets.
Dem Leadership needs to call Americans to the streets. It happened in Ukraine, and it worked. Dictators don't survive uprisings.

Look at the Euromaidan movement. It can happen in the US. The people need to take action.
