I swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution four separate times in my life: when I was a HI for the FBI, when I was sworn in as a prosecutor, and when I was sworn in for two separate state bars. I remember each one and still stand committed to it, and I didn’t do it on TV. JFC.

Getting a new social media app is a lot like starting a new relationship. There’s a lot of rigmarole: you have to get to know it, it has to get to know you. Eventually it sells your personal data to an adversarial government and faces legal sanctions as a result… tale as old as time, really

Social media posts: 4 (and counting)
Tik Toks watched: 37
Pages read: 0

What am I supposed to do to waste away a weekend morning in bed without TikTok? I just want to put off cleaning with some fun little videos but apparently those compilations of cats falling was a “national security risk” but incoming admin isn’t. Make it make sense.

With TikTok dark I can now be a menace everywhere else.

I’ll start by passionately creating awareness around what just actually happened:

TikTok got banned, yes.

More importantly: the Govt. now has unchecked veto power to shut down ANY app with ANY % foreign interest.

It is in fact amazing to me how many things I've lived through are now "old people" things. TV static. Rotary phones. 8-track tapes. The universal agreement that being a Nazi was a bad thing. New Coke!
