I am confident our republic will outlast the current regime of fascists, sadists, and assclowns.

I am far less certain that my friends, family, neighbors, other countries, and myself personally won't be collateral damage until then.

The key is to think globally and act locally.

Both political parties have used this tactic in the past to buy time or redirect attention.

So while there’s no confirmed evidence that this was Trump’s intent, the timing raises a lot of questions.
