The original series was much, much better. This "remake" is poorly cast, maudlin and over-sentimental. No housekeeper would have behaved like that in that era.

Just laughing when my daughter told me about her dog's antics today.
Firstly, she tried to make friends with one of those life sized RSPCA dog collection statues. Barking and play-bowing and getting frustrated at no response.
