What if… As Trump demands every NATO partner to match the percentage of GDP spending on defence as the US, the rest of NATO said USA is already spending too much? There might be more money for health and education, don’t you think?

What if… PM Carney pulled the Canadian negotiating team out of Washington and ignored Trump indefinitely. The Donald would have yet another snit.

I have not had the opportunity to be brave, except for the smallest of things and, frankly I am happy that has been the way of my life.

Just cancelled 10 US online subscriptions because I am determined to avoid any economic interactions with Trump’s America. Won’t be travelling to see friends there for the foreseeable future either as long as the Kremlin Kandidate is wrecking my and his own country.

Business is accountable to its shareholders.
Government is accountable to its voters.

Thus, government may not be run like a business because it must meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Let’s be clear…
The purpose of a business is to satisfy the needs of its customers. When it does, the result is profit.
The purpose of government is to meet the needs of its citizens. When it does, the result is safety, freedom and fairness for all.
