sometimes when i rewatch something months or years later im surprised at my previous rating like why didnt i like this before, or why did i like this so much? i think the most interesting part is seeing how that changes over time, which is why i love that you can log things multiple times and

just recording however i felt about it in that moment. i often will go back to a rating and adjust it as i think about it more throughout the week after watching. if something really grabs me in a good way i might bump it up, or if im thinking about how something bothered me might bump it down.

i understand that. i think it changes too depending on your mood at time of watching, might increase or decrease your rating just from any number of factors: watched it alone or with a group, was already having a good or bad day, etc. i think it helps to think of them not as definitive ratings, but

on my main account on twitter i had tens of thousands of accounts blocked just to curate what i would see on my TL, but definitely doesnt mean hate for me. and as i said before, i liked what you said in your review so even if we disagree on tv, we might agree on movies, and id like to find out

so in an agree to disagree way, i can respect that you want to run your account how you want, but i dont advocate for changes that would force you to run your account how i want, if that makes sense

in any case, when i saw your review & liked it i didnt even realize it was you until you liked mine

if they added all shows, itd be easy enough for someone to just not rate them who doesnt want to rate shows, as in your case. but in the reverse, if they disallow shows, then people who do want to track and rate them are unable to do so, as in my case.

and it could make it worse, thats the nice thing abt being able to edit the ratings, or log a new rating, which then shows how ones opinion on it changes over time.

as someone who likes show more than movies i want them there bc i watch more shows than movies, longer format to tell a story

understandable, theres another service called serialized and they have it so you can do it episode by episode or season by season or as a whole. i think just putting it as a whole would be best. but i agree the fact that they have some shows and not others does not make much sense to me
