I am thankful for my family, for our health, the blessings of a warm house and food to eat. Please keep those less fortunate in your thoughts and, if you are able, share what you can whether it be time or resources to the agencies who provide them with shelter, food and clothing.

Happy Nixon Resignation Day to all who celebrate 🎉 I remember exactly what we were doing at the time. Tony and I were taking a summer off, enjoying his discharge from the Navy. After hearing this news on the radio, we spent the rest of the day celebrating with more than a couple of beers 🍻

Today I honor Lt. Joseph R. Klugg, who died in service to our country in Vietnam on 11/14/1970. Lt. Klugg’s plane went down over water and his remains have never been recovered. I wore his POW-MIA bracelet for many years, leaving it at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in 2009. Rest in Peace, Lt. Klugg.

I am thankful for all of the Democracy-loving patriots who are willing to continue speaking to power for all of us. We will survive the next four years of craziness because we have each other. Happy Thanksgiving!
