I was going to comment that classics we can't read in the original language are less valuable. Then I realized that we have the best translations possible, in some cases better than the original. So yes, we must read classics if we want to know about the society we live in.

You said it. I heard Jasmine Crockett say that if anybody doesn't want to vote for Biden, they should vote for Kamala Harris. She has a good chance of being the next president, so just vote for her early.

The thing is, we have no choice. Nobody's getting a pony. We can have an old work horse or a fat squealing pig. Those are the choices. Also, Kamala Harris is able and willing to step in if needed.
