I just want to tell Sen Padilla how sorry I am that he was treated so badly, and how proud I am that he referenced how much worse it must be for immigrants. I can only imagine how terrible this is for his wife and children to watch. My heart goes out to the senator and his family. Carry on, Senator

Why do people misuse the very useful word "fulsome?" I hear it frequently used as in "fulsome report" meaning full and complete report. But that is not its meaning. It is an adjective meaning "expressing a lot of admiration or praise for someone, often too much, in a way that does not sound sincere"

My daughter, Cori, was visiting for Mother's Day, and, being an artist, misunderstood my reference to "Trump loyal" states, as "trompe l'oeil" states. "Trompe l'oeil" meaning "to deceive the eye."

Not to worry about trump becoming pope. Two reasons:
(1) he would have to have the crown of his head shaved and his remaining hair trimmed to a fringe
(2) popes don't play golf.

They say all Americans love a parade. Therefore, let's spend upwards of a billion dollars so that some 200,000 of them can watch a gigantic military parade in DC on June 14. I have a suggestion that would be much cheaper. And all Americans, even all World Citizens, would be able to watch it.

This may have been the smallest protest held in USA on Saturday, the 19th. No official group, just five citizens (one behind the camera) arranged an impromptu NO KING protest at the Courthouse in Romney WV. Lots of horns honking/hands waving/thumbs upping/ passersby cheering. Let no one be alone.

I understand that over 6000 immigrants have been declared dead by SSA, in order to force them to self-deport. This act closes out all their records, their resources, their benefits, their credit cards and bank accounts, etc. But how can they self-deport without these means?

I think this writer explains this well, makes it understandable. why is there not room in this world for two huge nation states to exist together, complementing one another's economies and resources? Why do some think that only one can survive?
