Those are human traits; they are not exclusive to bible followers. Many Christians have explicitly rejected those characteristics. Specifically, some have declared empathy anathema

No, they are Evangelical Christians. As long as they claim to be Christian, then they are. "Faith not works" is as valid as "works not faith"
