It was clear that a ruling either way on SNAP was imminent, given the structure of Justice Jackson's stay. Why didn’t the Senate Dems wait for that ruling before caving? Instead, they leaned on a false choice between saving SNAP or saving healthcare to justify their accepting this no-deal deal.
