I just feel like Fahrenheit has more of a gradient to it, like I get it you use decimals but I don’t know, and obviously it’s cause I was raised with it, it just feels more intuitive

I don’t get me wrong, water freezing at 0 and boiling at 100 feels right. But I don’t know, for like outside temperature, my brain sees 40, and I reach for a jacket.

Eh, we use metric for science and other things that need to be precise. I’ll argue till the day I die that Fahrenheit is a better measure of relative temperature. 40 degrees just doesn’t sound hot.

We use tons in America…and that boulder would be over 13 tons. A ton by the way is a measurement of pounds, unless of course you meant a tonne which is kilograms, but surely you wouldn’t use the wrong word while making fun of an entire country. That would just be embarrassing.
