Two of Graham’s longtime supporters, Georgia Wall and Don Gogel, are helping #GrahamSLAM reach new heights!

Georgia and Don recently made a $1M gift to expand Graham SLAM to young adults in our community centers and Family Support and Empowerment program.

Graham staff are visiting their alma maters to connect with current students through our new #GrahamCollegeConnect initiative! Last week, staff who attended Fordham University spoke about their career journeys and how their college experience helped prepare them for success in their current roles.

Last weekend, our CEO Kimberly Watson spoke at the New York Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Asian Legislative Caucus on "The State of Gun Violence Prevention, Intervention, Restoration, and Legislation in 2025" panel.

Graham Board Member, Joan Haffenreffer, was honored last week at the #DiningWithTheDivas Luncheon! This event honors exceptional women in leadership roles.

A big thank you to all the elected officials we met with, including Senator Ryan, Senator May, Assemblymember Bronson, Assemblymember Magnarelli, Assemblymember Hevesi, Assemblymember Solages, Assemblymember Berger, Assemblymember Rivera, Assemblymember Lunsford, Senator Skoufis, and Senator Cooney.

Graham staff recently took a trip to the New York State Capitol to speak with elected officials about Graham's initiatives in the child welfare space. We joined with COFCCA and our peer organizations to advocate for policies that support New York families as well as our staff.

Our friends at The FELIX Organization sent a group of Graham’s Cornerstone dancers to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall! To say this group had a great time is an understatement ❤️

Graham is keeping children and families warm this winter! An anonymous group of donors gifted us 360 new winter coats to distribute at our Community Coat Drive in the Bronx 🧥

Our staff set up a free store where community members could shop for a new coat. We are grateful for this generous donation!

During the holiday season, #Graham fulfilled 212 wish lists for children, young adults, & parents.

Our Manhattanville Cornerstone Community Center has a new computer lab thanks to Techie Youth 🖥️

These computers will make it easier for youth at our afterschool program to access online homework, while also helping community members apply for jobs.
