Agreed, no person or party is above being self-serving, but there are good people in politics, don't give up on good people and hope that things can be better, don't give up on your humanity. I hope that the future creates braver and more empathetic members of all parties.

Why should the Democratic party have to be the ones to get healthcare for all? Why is this not the responsibility of all parties? I am sure that Republicans, Independents, Greens, etc all need healthcare, it seems nuts that we would expect one party to solve this. I am not trying to be funny

If insurance companies moved to a not-for-profit model, the payers could function as claims processors at the state level, similar to how Kaiser or BCBS currently operate. I see their only job as ensuring that providers are paid for their services.

The Community Health Centers could be managed at the state level and advanced treatment centers could expand the national not for profit model of Cleveland, Mayo and Uni.

No that would be evil, I see a future with primary care managed via Community Health Centers and advanced treatment managed by places like Mayo, the Cleveland Clinic , and University Health systems.

I cannot get over what a perfect idea "Community Health Centers for All" is, this interview is an outline for a party platform that I can support.
