I was among the first British Service Men/Women to go into Beirut in the early 90s. 94 or 95 I think. Beautiful place and beautiful people.

Saw them live on the Hella Mega Tour in 2022 in Huddersfield. With Fall Out Boy and Green Day. Was a mighty fine day despite the rain.

Small dit. Sure I may have mentioned before. 1986..I was in Navy..girlfriends parents owned pub in Henley on Thames..stayed in Portsmouth for the weekend..she phoned me on Monday to say Marillion had played in the pub garden on Sunday..she thought it wasnt worth mentioning on saturday ! Doh !

Saw them a couple of times in the late 80s at Reading. When Reading was in a real slump. Dreadful tbh but nowhere near as bad as Alice Cooper, Stranglers and Zigue Zigue Sputnik.

I feel your pain Steve. Always followed Reading and Blackpool on Twatter, but not been there for months...still have it bookmarked but just can't bring myself to click it.
