Hi! I'm Graham (he/him)! I'm a writer and table top game developer. I'm always cooking up something and rarely get enough sleep.
This is my official work bluesky because my manager tells me I need to network.

It's a horror/action weird west game I've been cooking!
At the moment, it's a micro version that fits on 3 sheets (double sided). I've also got several scenarios that are also print-and-play, so people can hop right in and play
My talented partner @notjustanacrobat.bsky.social does the illusrations!

I'm at London City Comic Con today, and I found the perfect mini for a #daggerheart game I'm putting together! I loooooove dark fantasy steampunk

It's a totally normal fish. Nothing creepy here. Keep scrolling.

My beloved partner @notjustanacrobat.bsky.social has been doing some amazing character portraits during the playtesting for our game ^^
Yeeeeeeehaw

Hey! Check out this map I made for my #daggerheart campaign frame. I've been getting back into drawing and learning how to use Krita. It's fun getting to make my own visuals

Yes, it's an entire solar system because I can't stop myself sometimes

Experimenting with digital art for the first time in a dogs-age for a Call of Cthulhu scenario I'm designing. I'm really proud of this piece ^^
I'm a big fan of doing a lot with a little

It depends on what anatomy the culture you're writing ascribes importance to

The term seems to come from a myth explaining the origin of the feature that came about in the 16th century

Fantastical stories used to explain natural phenomena is a great way to make your fantasy feel grounded

The remains of a puzzle from my last #pf2e game.
The puzzle was turning statues to reflect a story on a mural on the back wall.
Honestly? Don't worry about your puzzles being too easy. I promise your players will overcomplicate it all by themselves

So, I've always struggled with recapping at the beginning of sessions. Either I write too much, and it kills the pacing and adds to my cognitive load, or I just wing it and feel lazy

So, with moving over to #daggerheart, I decided to try something new. I call it a "recap skeleton"

Currently working on the starting scenario for the game I'm designing and my very talented partner (in business and in love) @notjustanacrobat.bsky.social made this amazing portrait of one of the main NPCs

The world is chaos right now. Have a sleepy boy for your troubles

At my local shoppers today and we're already starting to see the terrifs kick in. I feel like this picture is illustrative.
A .22 cent increase doesn't seem like a lot, but think of how that could spread out across the entire economy on the shotgun scatter of affected products
This is just the start

Daggerheart actually has a campaign frame explicitly inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn ^^
You could pretty easily take the core rules and reskin it to just be Horizon
It also has a setting specific system for crafting your own weapon with your character as you progress

And as a bonus, now all my cards have a lovely magenta border around them :)

Who here has played #bloodwest ?
I love this game so much (it has its issues, but it's a very solid experience), and I don't see nearly enough buzz about it. It's dark, brutal, and exactly my thing

We need more horror Weird West! As a genre, I think it has so much untapped potential
