I don’t condone violence but this doesn’t make sense. The CEO is responsible for the business’s actions and they are compensated accordingly. I’m pretty sure the front line staff are gonna be fine.

I’m not upset about it tbh. It just is interesting to watch a conglomerate try to market a diverse portfolio of entertainment. To me, they have never really figured out how the core businesses ESPN / Disney really gel. Yes, putting games on ABC makes sense, but otherwise the strategy is confusing.

Tbh, I don’t watch Disney channel. However there is definitely a distinction between real life violence and movie violence. And i don’t think either makes sense on their platform from a marketing perspective. If Im a parent, I think Disney=kid friendly. I don’t want to be worried about filters.

In fairness, by not enforcing petty crimes, our government has actually created the perfect environment to steal these things. If there were consequences for theft, it wouldn’t be commonplace. I also hate the experience as a customer, but i don’t blame the corporation (even if greedy) in this case.
