Very happy with #Dell support for my 27” monitor that crapped out 38 months into a “bonus” 48 month warranty period. Replacement arrived 9am next business day.

Finally got round to doing a reset on my AirPods Pro Gen 2 so that they would do their own pre-diagnostic overnight… that then allowed me to run the iOS Hearing Test… with results about the same as I got from the free Mimi app

Frustrating to have to isolation test a charging dock problem down to this crappy little charging cable that is causing all connected devices to have to renegotiate power levels every 60 seconds

Notes section of your medical id is a less obtrusive place, assuming you have that turned on for the Lock Screen. eg. Set up an emergency contact called “If Phone Found Please Call”

#Eero+ supposedly includes “internet backup” that can automatically failover to using a “device hotspot” when the main connection drops. I’m on the 2 month trial, had an outage today, and spent 20 minutes trying to failover without success. Don’t think I’ll splash the cash when the trial ends 😡

iPhones & iOS have lots of “hidden” features. One that I use *every day* is medication reminders - in the Health app. Not uncommon for me to forget my morning tablets until I see the reminder on my screen.

“Back in the day” one had to spend a whole afternoon swapping floppies/zip disks to do a full backup. Now, less than 10 minutes of just sitting back & watching

iOS 18.2 is a minimal upgrade for iPhones of spec lower than 15 Pro (no Apple Intelligence). But in time for Xmas it does give lost AirTag sharing
