The really horrible part was the drive *should* have been fast. The engineers added extra high speed lines to the motherboard to make it the fastest drive on the market. During production design they were removed, and it was only noticed after a few hundred thousand motherboards had been produced 😔

Ah. Yeah that is very annoying indeed. I don't even understand what they hope to achieve?

Oh, and there's someone down in Kent who keeps booking slots at his local recycling centre, I keep cancelling them an hour before he's booked to arrive. Keeps doing it though.

I've been invited to faculty dinners at a University in Canada, had a nasty email from a school in Australia about my children's behaviour, and some lady in America keeps trying to send me money via an obscure banking service.

Brilliant.

I get this all the time, as old people with the same name as me assume that they have the email address I have. It's great.
