100% agree

...and the inability of the SK NDP to form gov't after ~20yrs in opposition is damning (especially running against a candidate like Moe, who makes no attempt to replicate Wall's ability to garner goodwill across party lines).

The NDP brand needs a major overhaul, IMHO.

I don't know about that. I suspect the gain in NDP seats provincially was more about moderate SkParty voters being repulsed by Moe's embrace of far-right politics, handling of COVID, etc.

The notion that traditional NDP voters see the federal Liberals as the best buffer against Trump...

I wonder how much of the growth in the popularity of the Liberals in SK is connected to a general discontent with the provincial NDP?

If you ever go back, let me know. I can connect you with a friend of mine who is a tour guide there. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, politics of the place. She spent a whole day showing me hidden pieces of street art (famous graffiti artists visit there a lot).

She was 3 years old last summer when we brought her there. Too young to have an opinion on much of anything other than broccoli and Ms Rachel.

The wife and I capitalized on it. Turned a 4 day conference into a 10 day adventure.

Glad to hear others are discovering it.

We went most recently for medical reasons. Slovenia has become the hub for gene therapy research for CTNNB1 Syndrome (which my daughter has). A happy coincidence, as I've made good friends there who have gone well out of their way to show me their beautiful country. It's a very special place.

Great people, beautiful/stunning landscapes, interesting historical influences from both east & west, delicious food, immensely safe place to travel, some really cool/progressive urban land use in Ljubljana. Somewhat off the beaten path. I could go on.

I love Slovenia. Been there twice (2008 & 2024), and I always encourage friends and family to go there when traveling Europe. May I ask where you lived and what you were doing there?

If anything, Moe's weak tariff retaliation strategy highlights his true allegiances: corporate donors & far right keyboard warriors.

Moe has not hesitated to cause pain to his own constituents (northerners, teachers/students, healthcare workers, LGBTQ, etc.)

Who do you work for, Moe?

What a weak response. Mr. Moe is a wet fart.
