The BBC may be an imperfect media organisation, but it's our imperfect media organisation.
As Licence Payers, British people will bitterly resent paying a single dime to any foreign power.
Time for a cross party approach to defend the BBC's future.

Thank goodness the private sector is leading the way with its usual efficiency & service delivery.....

It's easy to forget the chaos of the last years of the Conservative government, and equally easy to be conned by the false promises of scurrilous populist performers of the far right & left.

But this chap may not be a showman, but he is the serious and competent leader our country needs.

Is a quorum required for the Conservative Party Conference?
😉🤔😪

It's utterly beyond me that people want better public services, yet kid themselves taxes do not have to be raised to pay for them.
If we could afford to pay them, I'd blame their teachers!

What on earth is King Charles thinking here?
[Suggestions please!]

I know there's criticism for King Charles and other Royals for hosting the Trump visit. But my take is that they are "taking one for Team GB" [as are the politicians involved].

Am I alone in thinking Chris Mason, Political Editor of BBC News, would be more at home working for GB News than for the BBC?

OK. Here's what might happen.

David Miliband appointed Ambassador to the USA.

I'd put a £Fiver on it!!

Parliament's back, so Nigel's sneaked off to see his chums in the USA.

It's a good job the teachers of Clacton haven't nipped off to the USA at the start of term.

Dougal: What do you think you're doing?!? Whatever next? I don't know; first vandalism, then mad painters.
Mr Mchenry: I got carried away.
Dougal: You should be.

Worth supporting.

We need rain, and lots of it.
And for the crops & reservoirs too.

I have real trouble understanding Reform supporters.

They shout about their support for the military, claim to be the only British patriots, wrap themselves in English flags, dominate victory celebrations, but 52% seem to baulk at defending us all against Russia.

Despite the Badenoch Broadcast Corporation trying hard to deny it in their narrative, their chart really does show UK economy doing best out of the G7 countries in the first 6 months of this year.

Expecting The Cotswolds to cope with all four of these at once is blatantly unfair.
