My 'Back Story' album comes out in a few days. It's not the new stuff that I've been working on recently, but a collection of studio demos that I recorded in the 1990s and 1980s with a variety of bands.

I still play some of these songs live.

Careful Where I Tread performed at Woking open mic night last night. I tried a more laid-back version rather than the more lively one I usually do. Think it worked OK.

Guitarist's nightmare: A cut on a finger the other day means it hurts a lot to play guitar chords at the mo. So my set at the Hope and Anchor in #Wokingham next Monday is postponed.

But it has given me an opportunity to learn and record slide guitar parts for Beneath the Shade of a Tree.

Made a return to the open mic night at the Rowbarge near Guildford on Tuesday night. Stormed through three of my songs, and it was fun.
