Good to speak at Sacred Trinity Open Table, about open-handed truth in a world where closed-handed truth is dominant. What might an alternative horizon look like?

A longer reflection, trying to counter the depressing rhetoric of 'island of strangers'. We need to tell better stories -

Gave a #HolyAnarchy talk in London office of Council for World Mission - a partnership of churches in mission, which has helped me to be decolonial over recent years, & which is cited through the book. It was a good event.

It's a surreal experience, seeing your book (or the translation of it) on a website, apparently reviewing it - then it turns out to be an extract from it, but I hadn't recognised it ...

Teologia. La “santa anarchia” di Gesù: la debolezza svela il falso ordine
«Non ci sono alternative» è il proclama usato dalla logica del dominio. La prospettiva opposta ispira la Santa Anarchia, su cui riflette il teologo inglese Adams

This was a great conference...
Back in January Graham Adams travelled to Zimbabwe to take part in the 2025 DARE conference and share his 'Child-Centred Manifesto for Ecumenism'. Watch the highlights from this incredible intersectional gathering (extra points if you can spot Graham in the video!):

The recent worship conference -
Last week LKC hosted the annual 'Envisioning Worship' conference with Northern College. It was an inspiring day of exploring the question "What if God is Child?". Here's what some of the attendees took away from the weekend 🧵

Lk 13:35: pharisees warn Jesus to go as Herod is out to kill him. 1) Rulers don't threaten you for saying 'all lives matter' - they want you dead for taking sides with their victims. Jesus was political & partisan. 2) We're used to antagonism with pharisees but here they're allies. Don't box ppl in

Jesus embraced female imagery (mother hen), but this shouldn't be mistaken for cuddly-ness, because he called out (i.e. judged) 'foxes' - those who would harm 'the little'; it's politics against Strong Men (misogyny, bullying, abuse, non-empathy), advocating safety for all - a timely vision

I wonder which of Trump's acts will be considered to be a step too far by MAGA supporters? Evidently not the executive orders sacking any federal lawyer involved in any case against him & requiring huge upfront costs for anyone who tries - this corruption, & all the illegal firings, is fine for them
