I’ve always taken my laptop sticker game incredibly seriously.
And for the first time, it looks like I’m on my way to a fully quantum laptop. No one on the train will have any doubt about the industry I work in.
Sticker donations are always welcome

By far, the best food award at a conference I’ve ever attended goes to these cheese boards across SIGCOMM. Perfection 🧀

Had a great time this morning at the QuNet workshop at SIGCOMM!
Loads of cool work on quantum network locality, control, memories, and network implementations.
The big takeaway: metroscale q networks are gradually becoming a reality, but unsurprisingly the quantum internet is a while ahead

IWQC ✅ see you at SIGCOMM next 🛫

Thank you to the organisers for such a great workshop on quantum compilation! I learned a lot and had the pleasure of presenting my early PhD work!

I’ll leave you with some fancy looking slides:

I’m visiting Helsinki for IWQC later this week, and I’ve got to share that, without any doubt, today I had the best potato of my life.

Highly recommend Un verdor terrible (When We Cease to Understand the World) to those interested in the origins of scientific discoveries and/or mad scientists.
I often need a break after outstanding books (just read The Handmaid’s Tale), cause I struggle to fill the void, but this was an exception

Today quantum fringe comes to an end! 6 events over 2 months. From fundamental quantum theory to cryptography it was a blast.

Volunteering at the NQCC quantum hackathon today! Best of luck to the teams! So far I have seen some incredible work on real quantum devices! Glad to see some old acquaintances and meet some new one :)

NQCC is the UK’s National Quantum Computing Center. They run a yearly flagship hackathon 🇬🇧
