Protondb is a great resource to see if games run on Linux. Silksong is listed as platinum tier playability.

I've been running a 4070 and CachyOS very successfully for a while now. Seems fine to me, of course that is anecdotal but worth a shot if you're dual booting anyway. No real loss if you try it out.

If your constitution is 12 you have a +1 modifier. I think what you meant was difficulty class, so if the hot dog was DC 12 and it was based on constitution you still win. However walking the dog would be a dexterity roll. Not sure what you Dex is though, probably higher than mine.
