Finally seeing Brittany Howard / #AlabamaShakes live was a real treat. I’ve also been using the #Adobe Project Indigo app a lot for concerts this year , results are pretty amazing. This is zoomed as far as my phone would go (iPhone15) which was a 25X total digital zoom…not horrible! #ShotoniPhone

Listen up Canada!! Our Congressman John James (running for MI Gov) is demanding action because you are letting your smoke blow over Michigan. How dare you! Get your jetstream and forests in order will ya⁉️ /s

About a hundred red-winged blackbirds in my yard right now. I’d say spring migration is here. The vocalizations are something else.

Ice triangles for #MonochromeMonday and perhaps a #TriangleTuesday 😁 that have surely moved on by now to another phase of the triangle water molecules.

Here, you can borrow the text from my congressman's response. It is multi-purpose! (I think I prefer yours.)

A little break getting away from news feeds this morning out on Lake St. Clair. After finishing some photography in this spot, I turned around and there was a Bald Eagle sitting up in the tree behind me, probably wondering what I was doing. Sandhill cranes were calling in the distance.

Sorry Sada Baby, you got pushed aside on the front page. It's for a good cause though. 😉

I learned the Ojibwe word for "bone-cracking cold" the other day, thanks to James Vukelich: Gaakaapiganeyaakwadin

And it is definitely Gaakaapiganeyaakwadin! 🥶 - and getting colder.

In an ideal world, when a tree reaches a certain age, its right to exist should override any decisions of politicians or developers. Especially when it is older than the city or country itself.
