I’m quite biased.

The first 40% of this book is a lead up for Scott to understand how much of an asshole he was then the rest is spent fighting Gideon while he proves himself to be a fucked up hoe.
I like the ending, it pays off from the build up of the 5 volumes before it.

Things were looking up at the end of volume 4…
This isn’t what I expected. Why did they do this to me ? Also some panels look like a slightly different art style. Main critique is I want more Wallace. Scott Pilgrim is still an idiot. This just seems sad.

Every now and then I remember how many good stories you can miss out on if you’re too prudish to accept the different mediums they can come from. Films, Books, Comics, Manga, TV shows and video game, and these can come from many different cultures. All of them have the same likelihood of being good.

I read Volume 1 of Chainsaw man, I loved the art, found the dialogue possibly unintentionally funny and was captivated by the premise. I cannot relate to Denji in any deep way and I feel grateful for that, I’m glad I haven’t been in a position where working for a deranged sadist was an option.

I read “Goodbye Eri”
It’s quite something, an interesting mindfuck that I don’t understand.
The story is beautiful, it’s open to interpretation which I love as much as I loathe. I want clear answers but I feel like I don’t as well.
