Today's little joy from a very productive writing session: the graph for this project's obsidian vault has a heart in it because of all the love I put into the project. :)

As Halloween holds the line against Christmas (poorly—the decorations are already up at the store 😔), my neighbor has raised a stunning counterpoint and fights for year-long Fourth of July.

We primarily went out to San Antonio to visit the Bracken Cave Preserve, using my membership with Bat Conservation International! The world's largest colony of bats, housing 20 million Mexican Free-tailed bats for about half the year. When they take off, it sounds like rain hitting the roof.

I'm not dead! I spent some time vacationing in San Antonio and have been a little exhausted and extra disabled since. Not a lot of writing these past few weeks—my wrists are hurting too much to do much more than my job, unfortunately 😞 but here's the best pic I took in San Antonio!

Its tail fanned out elegantly at its end, and it had a pair of long antennae that unfurled out ahead of it."

Starting to get obsessive over the plants at work. Re-arranged the entire clinic to improve plant quality of life. Yesterday not one but two people complimented me on my orchid bloom. Soon I will be lost to the orchid obsession. (Awkward angle to ensure no patients are pictured.)
