The ZEV mandate still has to be met, so as far as I’m aware, it’s full steam ahead for EVs.

And you would have got a really good deal back then, too. But there’s lots more competition now and prices having been falling further. Quite extraordinary really.

Pretty much, but if it gets people over that mindset hurdle and into an EV it’s a win.
And having thought about it, energy density is only going to improve over time so daft ranges in physically smaller packs will be the norm which may enable more people into EVs if they have no home charging.

There’ll be a flurry of rangey EVs launching this year. Next up will be the new BMW i3, the electric version of the 3-series and not the tiny hatchback that was awesome.
