Yep the bloat is bad. I tried rejoining last year, hit the "verify your identity" straight away. Glad i didn't as i got the "your information was hacked" email last month.

There is a discord bridge plugin. not sure how useful it is. probs better to dual run initially and hope people try it

I need to give this a try, been meaning to for years. What client are you using?

I want to love Star Citizen but i gave up on it years ago.

Recently I've got really addicted to Egosoft's X3 games. Took me a long time to "find my feet" with them, but once I got over the initial learning curves they are really in-depth and chill offline games to play.

I switched this off months ago. It was driving me crazy the amount of cpu use and hard drive space being sucked up for games I play occasionally.

As much as I love steam and all they have done for linux gaming, I always end up back on local GOG installers

yep same error for me Nivrig. i then tried updating the tbblue_loader.rom and it just give a white screen.

Cspect works quite well with the latest distro

last i checked (in november) it hadnt been updated to support the new 24.11 distro, hence me recommending the included one to hitch. now you mention it though ill have a look ...

oh @retrostreamers.com worth noting , if you get in a mess with Zesarux (likely if your switching configs/machines). - you can reset it to defaults by removing the user config file, which is a hidden file in your home directory ".zesaruxrc"
September 2, 2025 at 7:25 PM
yeah confusing at first. it goes back to before it was "the next", it was a board called TBblue by Victor Trucco.

youll notice in the Zesarux 12 ubuntu release archive there is a tbblue_loader.rom and tbblue.mmc the autoconfig points to.

Recent zesarux (im using 12)setup is easier than it used to be (it even ships with a small harddisk image)

In the menu, select Machine/vTrucco-FB Labs
The submenu should show either TBblue or ZXNext (same thing)

it will then offer to Autoconfigure the SD image. Agree to this and use included

I feel you missed a trick here, not putting in a "c u NEXT tuesday" joke
August 18, 2025 at 1:25 PM
I am so glad the Next is getting a C64 core, removing any need for me to buy your product.

Doubtful, but if they hit 2.5 million thats 1000% funded, which would be nice.

I just chipped in my contribution. I was jealous of your purple.
