I'm interested to hear from people like Jon who heard Hunky Dory before Ziggy blew up. I mean, how well regarded was it as a contemporary release? I can't see it being passed around in the schoolyard, that's for sure!

And I will always argue that their best song is the first single and first track on first side of first album, Break On Though. I almost believe this, certainly enough to take on all comers in pointless argument stakes.
