I don’t believe that to be honest, I just think they haven’t managed the seeding process properly. Which in itself is a worry for a showpiece event where they need eyes on it and a favorable tournament.

Boks were good but that doesn’t take away from the Galthie and France question, too much quality for that type of result against 14 men at home IMHO

A bad result for France as you say Jon, a 15 point loss at home against 14 men. They need more out of that squad , need to question them.

ABs have a problem at 13 but their backs are good for me. They have options , I think the chink in their armour is second row and options & depth at hooker. They need the last cog to assist Savea & Sititi. A very good rugby side, I think most compare them to the greatest side in history under McCaw

He’s a good player but not elite, none of them are, they would probably be around 6th and downwards in the pecking order for the Boks. Vaai spends a lot of time in the outside channels. Lock is weak link in the pack for me, all are good players but none are RWC winning locks.

Think he’s a show pony, not a traditional lock, too busy with antics and wouldn’t get near the top locking stocks globally. He would be a better blindside for me or hybrid player.
