She’s good at this part - an expert at sounding reasonable & “just stating stats” but there is nobody calling her out on the bullshit underneath the facade. Maybe days later but by then her message is out and that’s what people are believing.

This is why there needs to be gov’t funded & staffed programs for housing, treatment, counselling support etc. Relying on churches & community volunteers who do this from a place of empathy & good works is wrong-headed. It’s a complex public health issue & needs government $$ & oversight.
