We find out tomorrow who the winners are but let me just say this, if we don’t believe in ourselves enough to apply for opportunities, no one else will.

This is more than an event to me, it’s a way to celebrate work that matters to me and to meet some cool new people while we’re at it.

I also threw my hat in the ring and applied for a service-based award for the work that I’ve been doing in the last three years of coaching dozens of individuals and completing over 300 coaching hours.

The key was in assisting her with reverse engineering her goals, asking guiding questions to identify what was most important within her goals, and anticipating how to address potential challenges.

We also identified potential obstacles and created backup plans. This way, she knows what to do if things don't go as planned.

Why the progress? In that first session, we broke down her main goal into small, manageable steps with clear weekly action items and flexibility within them.
