Glad I waited till after playing the quest before working on specifically Old Peace themed stuff because now I have more references and ideas…

I’m still secretly a fan of very dark and burnt designs, but the crisp look of having it not as burnt really looks pristine.

I’m still secretly a fan of very dark and burnt designs, but the crisp look of having it not as burnt really looks pristine.
On my old machine (5W), I used a 60% power and 50 mm/s speed. But that’s way too excessive for my new machine (10W). I got it down to 45% power and 90 mm/s and 140 lines per centimeter. Now the engraving is crisp, dark AND has less burn smudges. It’s such a step up from my old settings.

I can also use it indoors which honestly sounds great given it’s windy season in TX right now OTL (yay 20+mph wind, we dont talk about the gusts)
