From 2018. Our Ele` was a photogenic little do who loved the snow and the beach. Those were her happy places. I miss her.

Thank you George Takei.

Males are taken more seriously; think of the Catholic Church's a decade or so ago, aren't asked about drinking, attacked by the press, nor treated as if they did something wrong.
People wonder why so many females don't speak about assaults and/or rapes for decades.

This is why regular chimney cleaning is so important. A couple years after buying this house, almost 2 decades ago, we hired a chimney cleaner. He explained he there was too much creosote in the pipes and highly recommended replacing them. This is a photo of the pipe that was replaced.

I remember these chain letters that would be mailed or passed around with the subtle threat that if it wasn't resent to x amount of people within a certain time period then we would face disaster. I was in Jr school when I first saw one.

"There's no doubt now that we are facing an evil of nearly unimaginable proportions. This is an evil capable of doing unspeakable physical harm to innocents. The latest abomination, a WW2 refugee who's lived here for over 70 yrs was taken by ICE. His parents came here legally when he was 5."

"Few of us seem to realize how insidious, how radical, how universal and evil racism is. Few of us realize that racism is man’s gravest threat to man, the maximum of hatred for a minimum of reason, the maximum of cruelty for a minimum of thinking."
