I disagree - potatoes, brown rice, lentils, chickpeas, peanut butters, seaweed, oatmeal, mushrooms ... all pretty reasonably priced sources of fiber. Admittedly a bit boring without fresh apples or kale; hard to find in food pantries. I'm totally speaking from privilege so let me know if I'm wrong.
