I fear you are correct that they will do nothing. And even if he is removed/impeached - he has his minions all in place to continue the assault on the fabric of our government and democracy, so it seems like we are already basically doomed - it’s hard to know how to even function

Exactly! They refuse to obey the rule of law - so unless they get thrown in jail for contempt- which clearly isn’t going to happen - the Republicans need to remove him
