like idk it’s the unnecessary exertion of masculinity from the mmc but then us seeing VERY quickly he’s actually v sensitive which just doesn’t feel like well paced character development, and then the fmc’s identity just all feels very uncertain of itself. I rly wanted to love this book I’m v sad
