eh this rocket is almost 100% for 11 minute rides to space. Bigger rockets 100%, but this one carries very little scientific load. It’s carried some small student experiments, but it doesn’t launch satellites

I mean we were cooked to begin with, and to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if the CO2 emissions to produce one of these rockets was close to the number above. Good to share facts, but also good to acknowledge the overall sentiment of worrying for our planet is beyond valid

The new Shepard rocket uses hydrogen and oxygen as fuel, so it’s only byproduct (during launch and return) is water
