Finally the rain has stopped falling and has been replaced by clear, sunny skies and freezing temperatures. We seem to have ice ferns (trees?) on our windows.

Looks like all of Belgium is covered in snow this morning, having snowed on and off since yesterday evening. Currently just above freezing but we have about 8 cm of snow chez nous.

The third stem of flowers on my oncidium orchid has finally blossomed. All these tiny flowers will continue to bloom for weeks. I must be doing something right.
