Seems like everyone who's in favour, or tries to be, is looking for whatever approval for their agenda whatever the motive, i.e.whoever has whispered persistently enough. It's literally curry a favor politic conducted by a president used as a show horse aka standard bearer for the whisperers. Scary.

Why not lose weight by oneself instead of using a drug, doesn't make any sense. Just enriches a company. Sackler did with pain the same, legally, that is. Created loads of addicts who in turn feed loads of drug pushers, legal and other. Fentanyl is one of home made crises...

Unfortunately, distribution hubs are owned largely by Amazon, even independent publishers need to use them otherwise shipping costs would not be viable. These giants have everyone in their pockets.
