And... I should point out that not enough of those organizations are going to turn down federal money that comes with these terrible rules. Even though they have the option to pressure Congress to keep money flowing, it's going to take time.

Whoops. Better link shows about 16% of funding is through grants and contracts, but I didn't dig full into federal $$. Just have a lot of friends at various institutions wondering if their funding and jobs are going away 😔
