I made a friend today. She was in an old planter box that I was breaking up. I'm thankful that I noticed her. I moved her to another planter box.

Our Nala traveled 1150 miles before joining our family. Some very nice people helped her along the way.

Dogs are the best. Nothing against cats or any other animals. We've got 2 furry friends here. I used to think saying fur babies was ridiculous. I now understand.

We couldn't save one of our girls years ago. She was riddled with cancer. However because of Dakota we rescued 3 more. Here's a picture of two of our rescues.

I'm amazed that in a country that has affordable to free health care that a single province has almost as many measles infection cases as an entire country of almost 400M people. Is it just my imagination, or do we seem to be going backward?
