Proud Canadian who is disappointed in my American cousins but will stand by those on the right side in support over the next four years.

The best way to describe the world these days? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...

McGill I believe.

It’s almost as if she and her government didn’t fully think this through, or maybe they’re so delusional they think everyone loves them. Tough choice, but I’d say it was a little from column A, a little from column B.

But remember: It's the Democrats' fault (say the multitude of GOP/MAGA bootlickers).

I think someone wants him to be PM so they can pull the strings.

They'll be "Canada's Team" before you know it.

But he can pick out a giraffe or an elephant or something the average three year old can do…

Archie Bunker was his hero.

This is fucking sick if you ask me.

Can't really complain about Slafkovsky's season so far. The number of puck battles he wins is worth it.

They have traffic cops that sit in playground zones, usually is a car with bright yellow stripes to warn drivers they are there. You’d have to be an idiot to miss them. Otherwise there is almost zero enforcement.
November 3, 2025 at 2:09 PM
I think, in theory, it is a great idea. But without proper enforcement, it will never be followed. I live in a playground/school zone. They have the proper sinage, speed bumps at either end and people still fly through without a care in the world.

It is in my DNA as a born and raised Montrealer to despise all Toronto sports teams. Don’t care if rhe
Jays or Raptors are the only Canadian-based teams, doesn’t mean I’m going to cheer for them because of my passport.

Once again, he offers a boat load of criticism but nothing in the way of solutions (to a problem that doesn’t exist).

Ex-witches?

I was referring to the Expos' ownership, who thought fans should come out and watch the Expos for the sake of having the Expos, all the while, as they served as the farm club for MLB.
I would have had more respect for Brochu et al. if they'd at least tried to field a winner, even if they failed.
October 31, 2025 at 2:32 PM
I have no interest in rehashing the past to rewatch what was probably one of the slowest and most painful sports deaths of all time. Montreal loves a winner, and when they won, the Expos got fans to come to that awful stadium to watch them play. But if you're not going to try, what did you expect?
October 31, 2025 at 12:43 PM
I work early so playing late is not an option. I used to play at 11:30 a.m. every Fridays but now it is not an option. I do still go up to the park and play a little shinny now and then.

I played with another guy who had a couple cups of coffee with the Red Wings but spent most of his career in the AHL. his pro career was derailed when a freak, off-season accident caused him to lose 70% vision in one eye. He was still fantastic.
October 30, 2025 at 6:18 PM
No, I retired. I just couldn't make the times anymore.
October 30, 2025 at 6:12 PM
I played for three years with Guy Charron who 'only' scored 220 goals in the NHL. It was embarrassing.
Also played with Dana Murzyn. The guy could go from 0 to 60 in two strides, and Mike Rogers who had a couple of 40-goal seasons with Hartford. He could pick the corners like no other.
